What is Build your bank?
Build your bank is a community of people from around Australia who have been invited to voice their thoughts and opinions on Bank of Melbourne products and services.

What is Vision Critical?
Vision Critical provides the software for Build your bank and stores securely all the information collected. The information is analysed and reported by Bank of Melbourne. Vision Critical will not disclose the information to anyone other than Bank of Melbourne and there are strict privacy measures in place to protect your information. How do I register to become a member of Build your bank?
In order to become a member of Build your bank you will have to complete a registration survey. The link to this survey will be provided to you by Bank of Melbourne.

What information is required to become a panel member?
Completing a brief initial survey is the only information required for joining the panel. This survey will ask for basic contact information, a few demographic questions and questions about how you bank.

What will you do with my email address?
To be a member of Build your bank you will need to provide your email address. We will only use this email address to invite you to participate in surveys and discussions and to keep you up to date with all the exciting work we are doing.

How many surveys do I have to complete?
We would love to see you participate in as many studies as you are invited to take. In order to be considered an active member of Build your bank we ask that you participate in at least 3 surveys a year.

How do I complete a survey?
You will be e-mailed an invitation containing a unique link for each survey. Simply click on that link or cut and paste its respective URL into a web browser of your choice and complete the survey form online.

How long will I have to complete each survey?
You will typically have anywhere from 48 hours to one week to complete each survey.

How long will the surveys take to complete?
A typical survey takes anywhere between 5 and 15 minutes to complete, depending on your Internet connection speed and the complexity of the survey. The timeframe will be provided within each email invitation so you have an idea of how long it will take.

How do members receive information and feedback as a result of the survey topics they complete?
Interesting facts and findings will be made known to panelists in newsletters.

How do I find out if I've won a prize?
If you are a prize winner, we will contact you by email to confirm that you have won a prize. Once we have made contact with you, we will confirm all required details to get the prize to you. All prize members names will be published in the “View the Latest Prize Winners!” section on Build your bank.

How long will I remain on the panel?
As long as your time and interest allows. We hope that you choose to remain part of Build your bank for a long time. You may remain on the panel as long as you choose to participate in at least three surveys per year. Members may remove themselves from the panel.

How do I update my personal information?
You can log in at any time on Build your bank and change your email address and password using the ‘Update’ link at the top right.

What happens if I forget my password?
Simply click "Forgot Password?" at and follow the instructions on-screen. You will receive an email containing a temporary link allowing you to reset your password.

How do I report a technical problem?
Click on ‘Technical Support’ at the foot of the screen and use the self-help survey to assist with your query. If your query is not covered by the self-help survey, simply email support at including a description of the problem you are experiencing.

How can I unsubscribe?
See ‘How long will I remain a member of the panel?’ above. Also, every email you are sent from Build your bank will contain a link at the bottom which will allow you to unsubscribe. If you unsubscribe you will no longer receive e-mails from Build your bank.
